Happy Valentine's Day!
For these Linzer Tarts, I use the sugar cookie recipe that I usually make for Christmas cookies, cut into heart shapes, with a small heart in half of the cookies. After they cool, I spread the solid cookies with raspberry preserves, sprinkle powdered sugar on the cookie with the heart hole, and carefully position it on top. Voila! These will be dessert through Mardi Gras, this upcoming Tuesday.
